thousands of inappropriate e-mails to jill kelly. she is the florida woman whose complaints to the fbi eventually led to petraeus' resignation. in a new twist to the david petraeus sex scandal, the pentagon now says that the top american commander in afghanistan, general john allen, is under investigation, for allegedly sending improper e-mails to jill kelly. kelly is the florida woman who triggered the investigation that ultimately forced petraeus to resign. the pentagon is reviewing between 20,000 and 30,000 documents involved. allen, meanwhile, denies any wrongdoing and remains in his current position. late monday, agents spent nearly five hours at the home of petraeus' former mistress, paula broadwell, leaving early this morning with several boxes. this, after the fbi told abc news they discovered thousands of e-mails between broadwell and petraeus, detailing the affair. >> in his universe, this moral failing is unacceptable and renders him unworthy of continuing this position of responsibility for the nation. >> reporter: the affair came to light over the summer, as part of an fbi

closed. the votes from florida finally came in. saturday they cast their electoral votes for president obama and also declared philip phillips the winner of "american idol." they're slow. i'm surprised how slow they are. i know there are a lot of older people in florida but have you ever played bingo with old people? they're lightning fast. i used to go with my grandmother. i'd have one card i was focused on. she'd play 35 cards and you'd here o-75 and she'd be like bop, bop, bop, bop and reach over with her left hand and pow, right on mind and i'd sit there in shock. maybe they introduced a gambling element into voting it would go faster but in any case the election is finally over and now florida can get back to doing what it does best, which is -- what, eating early and driving slowly. mitt romney may have lost florida but has a supporter in indiana. eric hartsburg thought it a good idea to have the romney/ryan logo tattooed on his face. he'll feel stupid when he finds out about campaign buttals. lo even mike tyson was, that's a ridiculous tattoo. here's another angle. judging by th

fact that the returns from florida still have not been counted. some people had to wait five, six hours to vote there. what goes on in florida? they had four years to fix this and -- four years to fix things before that. broadwell is in possession of any sensitive information. investigators searched her home in florida this evening and theory moving documents and video. confiscated several bi bins of evidence. petraeus started an affair with broadwell when head of the cia. he resigned on friday. broadwell was im bedd with him in afghanistan while working on his biography. he claims any confidential information she obtained was no the from him and must have come from another commander. broadwell has agreed to cooperate fully with the fbi. now the fbi found out about the affair from jill kelly. here she is leaving her home in north carolina today. she contacted the fbi because pull a broadwell warned her to stay away from general petraeus threatening e-mails. knew him from having parties in florida. information was found about the petraeus broadwell affair. however, "wall street journal"reports the fbi removed the agent from the investigation because he became obsessed with jill kelly. apparently even sending her a shirtless picture of himself. whether any realizeship is not mostly clear at this point
